Russians claim to have shot down 107 drones over 4 regions

On the night of 4 April, air defence forces were operating in a number of Russian regions. Explosions were heard in Kursk, Orlov, Lipetsk, Kaluga, Rostov and over the Black Sea.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
In particular, 34 drones were shot down in Kursk region, 30 UAVs were intercepted over Orlov region, 18 over Lipetsk region, and seven over Kaluga region. Also, four Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Sea of Azov and Rostov region.
A person was killed in a Ukrainian attack in the Bryansk region, the region's governor, Alexander Bogomaz, said. According to him, the drone strikes hit the village of Belaya Berozka in Trubchevsky district.
"As a result of the explosive devices being dropped, windows and a balcony were damaged in the apartment building. The victims were taken to the district hospital," Bogomaz added, without specifying their number.
According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian air defence "repelled an attack by a drone" flying towards the Russian capital. According to the Ministry of Defence, three UAVs were intercepted over Moscow region last night.
A series of explosions took place in the Russian city of Lipetsk at night. Local residents heard 15 to 20 powerful explosions. The governor reported the threat of attack drones and assured that air defence forces were working over the city. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage.
Russian public media noted that the drones were flying towards the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, which produces polymer-coated steel. It is known to be the largest in Russia and is located in the Russian city of Lipetsk, 508 km from Moscow.
