Zelenskyy has not yet received invitation to NATO summit in Hague - Sybiha

Andrii Sybia

The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not yet been invited to the annual NATO summit to be held in June 2025 in The Hague.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, Censor.NET reports citing the EP.

"We have not yet received an invitation for the head of state to participate (in the summit in The Hague)," Sybiha said.

At the same time, according to the minister, Ukraine is noticing positive dynamics in the support of NATO member states. In particular, the atmosphere at the current meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council was radically different from that of December 2024.

"Last year there was a lot of uncertainty... And the atmosphere was different from yesterday. In short, yesterday I felt unity. As a minister, I can support every minister, every speaker who made speeches yesterday," he said.

Sibiga emphasized that the allies have demonstrated their determination to support Ukraine, and this support will soon be transformed into real aid packages.

"There were a lot of new commitments to support Ukraine in such a difficult time. And these commitments, as I repeat, will be developed in the short term and converted into specific assistance packages," the Foreign Minister added.

The Minister also emphasized that Euro-Atlantic integration remains a key foreign policy priority for Kyiv.

"The Alliance cannot be removed from our agenda. I am informing you of this," he concluded.
