American leader Donald Trump claims that the United States possesses weapons that no one knows about and that they are "the most powerful in the world".
He said this during a briefing, Censor.NET reports.
Trump said that the United States now possesses weapons whose power is superior to any weapon system in all countries.
"And we are very strong. This country is very powerful. Let me tell you, we are much more powerful than people think. We have weapons that no one has the slightest idea about. It is the most powerful weapon in the world. More powerful than anything. Not even close," he added.
Trump's statements about "the world's most powerful weapon" were made in the context of the trade war, particularly against China.
The head of the White House spoke about weapons after Beijing imposed reciprocal tariffs.
US duties against China
It is worth noting that this is not the first wave of duties imposed by the US on China. First, the US imposed 20% duties on Beijing, then added another 34%.
After that, China imposed duties on American goods, and the day before Trump threatened additional tariffs of 50%, and he kept his promise.
The Trump administration has increased tariffs on Chinese goods to 104% since 9 April.
China responded to Trump's new tariffs by raising tariffs on US goods to 84%. After that, Trump immediately raised the tariff rate for China to 125%.
Earlier, Trump also called China's decision to impose mirror 34 per cent tariffs on all imports from the United States on 10 April a mistake.
