"Russians hit the city of Sumy with missiles, killing civilians," he wrote.
According to the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, there are many casualties due to the enemy attack.
"There are many dead today as a result of the missile strike... The enemy has struck again at civilians," he said in a statement.
