Russian strike on Sumy: National Police showed first footage from attack site. VIDEO

The police released the first footage from the site of the Russian missile attack on Sumy.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Facebook page of the National Police of Ukraine.

"Palm Sunday. The day when willow branches symbolise life, hope and peace. It is a day when the hearts of Ukrainians are filled with faith in a bright tomorrow and prayer for their loved ones and for our land," the police said.

The shelling destroyed and damaged several residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Patrol police, rescuers and other emergency services immediately arrived at the scene of the tragedy. They pulled people out from under the rubble, helped the wounded and supported the injured.

"Today, Ukraine once again see the true face of the enemy. We will survive. We remember every name," the police stressed.

As a reminder, on 13 April, Russian invaders launched two missile attacks on the centre of Sumy. The attack killed 34 people, including two children. Also, 117 people were injured, including 15 children.
