Sumy Regional Council passes draft decision on no confidence in RMA head Artiukh
The head of the "European Solidarity" faction in the Sumy Regional Council, Volodymyr Tokar, has submitted a draft decision "On no confidence in the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh".
He wrote about this on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"The regional leadership is unable to ensure the safety of citizens and fulfil its direct duties... I ask the President of Ukraine to dismiss the head of the regional state administration and take personal control of the investigation into the two recent emergencies in the city of Sumy: 24 March and 13 April 2025," Tokar said.
As a reminder, as a result of a rocket attack on the centre of Sumy on 13 April 2025, 34 people were killed and 115 injured.
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin said that the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh, had organised an award ceremony for the 117th Brigade of the TDF at the Sumy University Congress Centre, which was later attacked by Russians.
