Ukraine and Russia to conduct 246-for-246 prisoner swap tomorrow with UAE mediation – Sky News

On Saturday, April 19, Russia and Ukraine will carry out a new prisoner swap.
This was reported by Sky News, citing sources, as relayed by Censor.NET.
A source told the outlet that the exchange will involve around 500 Russian and Ukrainian prisoners of war, as well as 46 wounded servicemen.
According to the source, 246 prisoners from each side will take part in the exchange.
The total number of captives exchanged through UAE mediation now totals 3,233.
The exchange took place after U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that the United States would abandon its efforts to broker a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine within days unless there were clear signs that a ceasefire could be reached.
