Enemy is actively trying to storm central part of Toretsk - OTG "Luhansk"
Over the past day, 34 combat engagements took place in the Luhansk OTG, most of them in the Toretsk sector. The occupants also attempted two assault operations in the direction of Chasiv Yar and two in the Siversk sector.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Dmytro Zaporozhets, spokesman for the Luhansk OTG, on Suspilne TV channel.
"The enemy is actively trying to storm the central part of Toretsk and is also conducting active assault operations in the direction of Dachne and Krymske with the use of motorized vehicles," said Zaporozhets.
According to him, 29 units of motorized vehicles were destroyed yesterday, most of them in the northern part of Toretsk. The enemy's tactics are as follows: groups of 3-5 motorcycles move in the center, a motorcycle with electronic warfare equipment is riding in the center to cover them from our drones.
"In addition, the enemy conducts training on motorcycles in the rear, there is even such a distinction as a motorcycle assault rider, motorcycle miner, motorcycle evacuator. The enemy thinks that this is a panacea during offensive operations. The main goal of such units is to advance through the fields and capture small settlements in order to gain a foothold and restrain the pressure of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," Zaporozhets said.
The spokesman noted that no massive movement or involvement of new Russian units in this area of the frontline has been recorded.
Mr. Zaporozhets noted that Russians continue to actively use KABs, especially in the direction of Kostiantynivka, but recently they have added Shaheds. Yesterday, the enemy attacked the city of Sloviansk with them in the afternoon.
