Zelenskyy: Trump is ready to provide Ukraine with security guarantees after war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that US President Donald Trump is positively committed to providing Ukraine with security guarantees in the post-war period, but no specific agreements have been reached yet.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to "EP".
According to the president, the conversation with Trump left him with a "good impression." "President Trump is ready to provide Ukraine with security guarantees after the end of this war. What they will be, what they will look like - we do not know all the details, and I would not want to mislead you until there are specific details on paper,’ he stressed.
In the coming days, the Ukrainian and US teams are to discuss what types of weapons are most needed for security guarantees. Zelenskyy clarified that air defence systems, in particular, not only Patriot systems, are a priority.
The president also stressed that strengthening the "air shield" could be a key factor in putting pressure on Russia, as its only "success" at present is missile strikes and destruction in Ukraine.
