Low-cost, high-tech British drones set to arrive in Ukraine

UK-based MGI Engineering intends to supply Ukraine with SkyShark strike drones.
Censor.NET reports that deployment of the first batch is expected in about six weeks, and Ukrainian partners are already preparing for local production, United24 Media says.
The SkyShark is designed to carry munitions weighing 10–20 kg, has a reported range of around 250 km and a top speed of approximately 450 km/h.
The platform features an onboard guidance system enabling autonomous target identification and dive strikes. The estimated unit cost is about $67,000.
At the same time, the company is developing a larger system, TigerShark, intended to fill the gap between FPV drones and costly winged cruise systems; initial tests are planned in roughly two months.
MGI founder Mike Gascoyne says the company draws on aviation and racing engineering expertise to create lightweight composite structures for its drones. The Ukrainian side is working on integration and options for local production, which should speed up large-scale adoption of the SkyShark by combat units.
