The combat use of the new OCTOPUS drones will take place in Ukraine.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov said this during the nationwide telethon United News, Censor.NET reports.
He noted that Ukraine developed the project in cooperation with the United Kingdom.
"The United Kingdom worked with us on this project. We will now produce the first batches at their state facilities. After production and testing, the combat deployment will take place in Ukraine," Umerov said.
As a reminder, on October 24 in London, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and demonstrated the Ukrainian OCTOPUS interceptor drone.
