Belgium’s National Security Council to hold emergency meeting over incidents with unidentified drones

The head of the Belgian government, Bart De Wever, agreed with the proposal of the Minister of the Interior and Security, Bernard Quentin, to convene an emergency meeting of the National Security Council in light of incidents involving drones.

According to Quentin, the National Crisis Center is closely monitoring the situation at airports in Brussels and the Belgian city of Liège, where drones have been spotted previously.
Drones over Belgium
- At the end of October, it was reported that unknown drones were spotted twice over one of Belgium's military bases.
- On the night of November 1, several unknown drones were spotted over the Klein-Brogel military airbase in the Belgian province of Limburg.
