Britain tracks Russian spy ship Yantar near Scotland - SkyNews

Britain is closely monitoring the Russian spy ship Yantar, which is on the edge of British waters in the north of Scotland.
This was stated by Defense Minister John Gilli, reports Censor.NET with reference to SkyNews.
According to him, the vessel, designed to collect intelligence and map underwater cables, entered the region several weeks ago. A Royal Navy frigate and Royal Air Force aircraft were dispatched to monitor it.
Gili noted that during the observation, Yantar directed lasers at the pilots.
These Russian actions are very dangerous, and this is the second time this year that the ship, the Yantar, has entered British waters. So my message to Russia and Putin is this: we see you, we know what you are doing, and if the Yantar heads south this week, we are ready," he said.
