127 enemy attacks since start of day, most intense in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, the number of attacks by the aggressor has reached 127.
This is stated in a report by the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces as of 4:00 p.m., Censor.NET reports.
Enemy shelling
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Vyntorivka, Volfyne, Korenok, Prohres, Brusky, Starykove, Nova Huta, and Havrylova Sloboda were affected.
Situation in the north
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 58 strikes on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, three of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
- In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units four times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Veterynarne; three engagements are still ongoing.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy made seven attempts to improve its tactical position toward the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoosynove. One engagement is ongoing.
Fighting in the east
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Nadiia and Drobysheve. Two engagements are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, one engagement is ongoing near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted no active operations.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out nine attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. One battle is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 36 attempts to push Ukrainian forces from their positions in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhhorodne, and Novopavlivka. Seven engagements are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy launched 18 attacks in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirsk, and toward the settlements of Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove. Five engagements are currently ongoing. Kolomiitsi came under an airstrike.
Situation in the south
- In the Huliaipole direction, Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully repelled 25 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Olenokostiantynivka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, Zelene, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Ten engagements are ongoing. Liubytske came under an enemy airstrike.
- In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defensive positions 13 times in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward the settlements of Novodanylivka, Lukianivske, and Prymorske. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Omelnyk and Preobrazhenka. One engagement is ongoing.
- In the Prydniprovske direction, one assault action is ongoing toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation have been recorded. No enemy attempts to advance were observed.
