"The enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia. A high-rise building and a municipal utility were damaged by the blast," Fedorov said.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties. Details regarding the damage are still being confirmed. Prior to the attack, there were reports of a threat of guided aerial bombs and attack drones in the region.

The regional governor urged residents to remain in shelters until the air raid alert is over.

Attack on Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has launched 956 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, damaging infrastructure and residential buildings. In the Zaporizhzhia district, two young men aged 16 and 19 were wounded, Ivan Fedorov reported on Thursday.

The day before, four people were wounded as a result of enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia and Polohiv districts.
