Ukraine has submitted a request to the United States regarding an Easter ceasefire; it is unclear whether they will be able to convey it to Russia.
According to Censor.NET, citing Interfax-Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a meeting with journalists.

"We've all seen their response in the media: they (the Russians—Ed.) don't seem to be ready for this. I don't know how serious that response is. We've forwarded our request to the American side. I don't know if they'll be able to convey another message to the Russians. We'll see," Zelenskyy said.
