European Parliament to examine repressions against Tatars in occupied Crimea, – Schultz

The European Parliament will carefully consider the situation with the violation of rights of the Crimean Tatars in the peninsula occupied by Russia.

The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz told reporters in Munich after talks with President Petro Poroshenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

Schultz said the European Parliament would carefully look into the situation, particularly with regard to human rights and security.

The president of the EP also noted that he listened carefully to Poroshenko on this issue.
