Ukraine has returned 10 young men and women from occupation and Russian Federation in three months

Ten young men and women aged 18–19 have returned from the temporarily occupied territories to areas under Ukrainian control. Most of them spent several years under occupation and only after reaching the age of majority were they able to decide their own future.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Dmytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights.
I went back to my sister's place in Odesa
The ombudsman shared the story of one of the returning boys. His hometown came under occupation when he was only 14 years old.
His sister managed to leave and settle in Odesa, but he stayed behind with his parents, who were caring for his seriously ill grandmother. After several years of living under occupation, he decided to return to Ukraine. Today, he lives with his sister.
We have chosen the future in Ukraine
According to Dmytro Lubinets, all ten of the young people who have returned want to study at Ukrainian universities and see their future in Ukraine.
"Despite having lived under occupation for years, they want to study at Ukrainian universities, live in a free society, and build their careers right here—in their own country. For them, returning has become an opportunity to shape their own future," the ombudsman noted.
Partners joined the effort
The international company MHP and its founder and CEO, Yurii Kosiuk, participated in the evacuation effort. According to Lubinets, their support helped facilitate the return of young Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories.
