Certain number of NABU staff will be transferred to the State Customs Service, but it won’t be on a large scale, - Mandzii

There will be no mass exodus of NABU employees to the State Customs Service.
This was stated by Orest Mandzii, head of the State Customs Service, in an interview with Censor.NET.
What is known?
"I do indeed have a lot of operational information due to my previous position (at NABU—Ed.) and ongoing communication with my former colleagues, and with law enforcement agencies in general. In this regard, there are many questions for our current staff, both at the central office and in the regions," noted the head of the State Customs Service.
However, according to Mandzii, during the first selection meeting, he clearly stated that he considers the mass transfer of NABU employees to positions in the customs service, especially to leadership positions, to be wrong.
"Since I am not a proponent of building a team based on personal loyalty. I don’t need people to coddle me and tell me how wise my decisions are. I need high-quality work. That is why a certain number of people from NABU will be transferred to the State Customs Service. Not to top positions. For me, this is an alternative source of information about the processes taking place internally.
We will gradually get rid of those people who have not understood that there have been fundamental changes in both worldview and approach to work by referring relevant materials to law enforcement agencies or during performance reviews or disciplinary investigations. This was announced at the meeting," he added.
