Zelenskyy ranks first among those Ukrainians would not vote for under any circumstances – Hryniv

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has for the first time topped the list of candidates whom Ukrainians are unwilling to vote for under any circumstances.
According to Censor.NET, political strategist and ultimate beneficial owner of SOCIS Ihor Hryniv said this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda while commenting on the latest opinion polls on public sentiment.
"The second important point worth noting is that Zelenskyy has, for the first time, risen to first place as the figure whom people will not vote for under any circumstances. Here, he has overtaken Petro Poroshenko, who for a long time was seen as someone who had his turn as president, and that was enough," Hryniv stressed.
Why people took to the Maidan
The political strategist noted that Zelenskyy had received such a strong "enough" signal for the first time.
"Although, in fact, we did not take to the Maidan to oppose Zelenskyy. People took to the Maidan to demand an end to corruption and to call for change. And they immediately showed him a yellow card. It is not a red card yet, but he already needs to respond to it," Hryniv added.
Zelenskyy has a runoff problem
"An important point that political strategists will notice is that Zelenskyy gains no additional votes in a potential runoff. Neither Budanov’s nor Fedorov’s voters switch to him," Hryniv stressed.
