Strike UAV storage site, materiel depots and ground repeaters hit in temporarily occupied territories – General Staff

Ukraine strikes Russian drone sites and command posts in occupied areas

On 20 August and overnight into 21 August, the Defense Forces struck a number of facilities belonging to the Russian occupiers.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this, according to Censor.NET.

Details

A site used to store, prepare and launch strike UAVs was hit near the city of Donetsk in the Donetsk region.

A ruscist materiel depot in Novosilske, in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea, was also struck.

Two enemy command posts were hit—one in Zaporizke in the Donetsk region and another in Kobyline in the Zaporizhzhia region.

"Among other targets, six ground repeaters used to control Geran/Gerbera strike UAVs were hit in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea: two in Sterehushche, three near Olenivka and one in Chornomorske.

A ground repeater transmits control and communication signals between the operator and the drone, extending its operating range and improving the stability of its use," the statement reads.
