Women in Ukraine should be mobilised, as they are just as capable of fighting as men, - Kellogg
The former special representative of US President Donald Trump for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has stated that Ukrainian women should be conscripted into the army, as they fight just as well as men.
He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Naspravdi MAX", according to Censor.NET.

On the mobilisation of women
Kellogg stated that he sees no problem with women serving in the army and believes that they fight just as well as men.
"My answer is yes. It is very important that women, as part of society, serve. I see absolutely no problem with this. My wife was a paratrooper and jumped out of aeroplanes. My daughter was a paratrooper and jumped out of aeroplanes. My wife served in Grenada, and my daughter served in Afghanistan", said Kellogg, citing his own family as an example.
On the course of the war
Kellogg also stated that there are no signs of a Russian victory, and that the initiative in the war has shifted to Ukraine. According to him, over the past year Ukraine has become significantly stronger and has inflicted more damage on Russia than many could have imagined.
- He pointed out that if Russia were truly winning, it would be seizing more territory, would not be bringing in North Korean troops, and would not be moving its logistical bases further away from the front line.
"The initiative has shifted to the Ukrainian side, not the Russian one. Ukraine’s courage and combat effectiveness have, in effect, nullified Russia’s chances of victory," said Kellogg.
On the occupied territories
Trump’s former special representative reiterated that the US does not recognise Ukraine’s occupied territories as part of Russia.
"Do we recognise Crimea as Russian territory? No. The same applies to Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. They are simply occupied," Kellogg emphasised.
