We are working on production of SAMP/T systems and their missiles in Ukraine, - Zelenskyy after meeting with Macron
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared details of his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Censor.NET.
Discussed Air Defense
"We discussed, first and foremost, security and the winter support package for Ukraine. We are also prepared to provide additional SAMP/T air defense systems and missiles for them, using funds available under the EU loan.
We are continuing to work on the possibility of manufacturing such air defense systems and their missiles in Ukraine, as well as on the FREYJA anti-ballistic missile program in collaboration with our partners. We expect to see the first results as early as this year. We are doing everything we can to strengthen the protection of our people. Thank you, Emmanuel! Thank you, France!" Zelenskyy said.
