Estonia is deploying troops to border with Russia as part of its "active defense" strategy, - FT

Estonia is preparing for a possible Russian attack and is redeploying a key brigade from the city of Tapa to Jõhvi, 50 km from the border with Russia.
This is reported in an article by the Financial Times, according to Censor.NET.
Details
It is noted that Estonia is purchasing weapons capable of striking deep into Russia and is constantly moving troops closer to the border with Russia as it prepares for possible Russian aggression.
The country’s armed forces and intelligence agencies do not believe that Russia is seeking war with NATO for at least the next two years; however, Russia may be preparing for a possible future conflict with Estonia.
As a result, Estonia has shifted to a strategy of "active defense." For example, large new facilities for troop deployment are currently under construction in Jõhvi.
"Deterrence isn't working. The critical period for resolving this issue for all of us in the Baltic states will be over the next one to four years," the publication quotes a representative of Estonian military intelligence as saying.
The country's Ministry of Defense says that deterrence must be convincing, and that aggression against Estonia must be made unthinkable.
In addition to the new base in Jõhvi, a border base is being built in Narva.
Over the course of the year, Estonia signed contracts to purchase nine American HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems, M57 ballistic missiles, and nine South Korean Chunmoo multiple-launch rocket systems.
Background
- It was previously reported that Estonia had installed its first stationary systems for detecting and monitoring drones at three sections of its land border with Russia in the southeastern part of the country. By the end of the year, authorities plan to deploy similar systems along the country’s entire eastern border.
