The man also posted video tutorials on the channel on how to make explosives and commit other crimes.
It has been established that the detainee created his own Telegram channel, on which he incited users to blow up Ukrainian and foreign law enforcement officers using homemade explosive devices.
"In addition to calls for mass murder, the suspect offered his online audience video tutorials on how to make explosives.
It has been documented that the suspect set up a laboratory in his flat, where he demonstrated the synthesis of chemicals for assembling homemade bombs.
He also told his followers about the specifics of using electric detonators, additional elements to ‘enhance’ the destructive effect, and other components of improvised explosive devices," the statement reads.
The man was arrested at his home. During searches, explosive substances and laboratory equipment for their synthesis were seized from him.
Computer equipment was also found in his possession containing evidence of the creation and administration of a terrorist Telegram channel, as well as anti-personnel mines, explosive devices and ammunition.
He has now been charged under articles relating to public calls to commit a terrorist act, as well as the unlawful handling of weapons, ammunition or explosive substances.
The suspect is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing to identify all of the man’s accomplices.
The Telegram channel has now been blocked.
