Share of "shahed" jet-powered drones used by Russians could rise to 80%, - Air Force

The Air Force predicts that the proportion of jet drones in Russian strikes on Ukraine could rise to 80 percent, and their speed could reach 800–900 km/h.
This was stated by the deputy commander of the Air Force, Colonel Yurii Cherevashenko, during a meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission, according to Censor.NET.
Details
According to him, the number of drone strikes has increased since July.
"Currently, they account for 40% of all drones deployed in Ukraine. In certain areas, they account for up to 60% of strikes. And that number continues to rise. We predict that jet-powered drones will account for about 80% of strikes," he noted.
Countermeasures
According to Cherevashchenko, work is currently underway with manufacturers of jet-powered interceptor UAVs.
"Currently, about 20 manufacturers are in communication with us. Their products are at various stages of development. The Air Force has established test zones where these UAVs are being used in combat conditions.
Fourteen companies already have specific products and have begun test flights. Of these, six companies have achieved some success in destroying jet-powered drones," he explained.
At the same time, three companies have achieved results that can be considered promising solutions.
Speed of Russian jet drones

At the same time, the Air Force predicts that this speed will increase to 800–900 km/h.
"We haven't seen any like that yet, but we're predicting it," said Cherevashchenko.
