Five regions are experiencing power outages due to shelling; rolling blackouts are in effect, and emergency outages are possible, - Ministry of Energy

The power went out after the shelling

As a result of hostilities and Russian shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Vinnytsia, Kharkiv, Kherson, Poltava, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily without power.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Ministry of Energy’s press centre.

Where the security situation allows, energy specialists are working to restore power.

Scheduled power cuts

As noted, throughout the day today, certain regions of the country are implementing power restriction schedules for industry and businesses, as well as hourly power cut schedules for all categories of consumers—ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 shifts.

"If the situation worsens in certain regions, emergency power outages may be implemented. Current schedules are posted on the official websites of regional distribution system operators. Check the websites of your regional power companies for updates on power supply changes," the Ministry of Energy emphasizes.

During peak load times, Ukrainians are urged not to turn on several high-power electrical appliances at the same time. This helps reduce the load on the power grid and shorten the duration of mandatory restrictions.
