"Kyivvodokanal" resumes accepting wastewater into Kyiv’s sewer network

Power outages at Kyivvodokanal facilities disrupted the operation of sewerage and water supply systems. In particular, the flow of wastewater from the Borshchahivska community into Kyiv's sewer networks was temporarily suspended.
Village council secretary Oleksandr Medvid reported this, Censor.NET reports.
Borshchahivska community experienced water supply disruptions
Power outages at Kyivvodokanal facilities caused problems with the operation of sewerage and water supply systems. The flow of wastewater from the Borshchahivska community into Kyiv's sewer networks was temporarily suspended.
This affected the community's sewerage and water supply systems. At that time, it was unclear when the systems would resume operating.
The situation later changed. Power was restored to Kyiv's sewage pumping stations, after which Kyivvodokanal resumed accepting wastewater into the capital's sewer network.
Water supply gradually returning to the community
After the sewage pumping stations resumed operating, water supply in the Borshchahivska community began to be restored gradually.
However, stabilizing pressure in the system takes some time. As a result, water may return to different parts of the community at different times.
"It may take some time for pressure in the system to stabilize, so water may return to different parts of the community at different times," Oleksandr Medvid said.
Further updates on water supply in the Borshchahivska community will be provided, he added.
