195 combat engagements on front line: most enemy attacks in Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors – General Staff

Since the start of October 9, 195 combat engagements have taken place on the front line.

This is stated in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s update as of 10:00 p.m., Censor.NET reports.

Enemy attacks

The enemy carried out 61 air strikes, dropping 197 guided aerial bombs. It also deployed 3,902 kamikaze drones to strike targets and carried out 1,138 shelling attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions.

Situation in the north

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi sector, eight combat engagements took place near Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Bachivsk, Doroshivka, Buniachyne and Mala Rybytsia. Ukrainian troops stopped four attacks, while four battles are still ongoing.

Fighting in the Kharkiv region

Throughout the day, in the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy assaulted our units’ positions 13 times near Buhaivka, Izbytske, Hrafske, Vovchansk, Varvarivka and Vodiane.
In the Kupiansk sector, two combat engagements were recorded near Novoplatonivka and Kolisnykivka. One battle is still ongoing.

Fighting in the east

In the Lyman sector, four combat engagements took place near Novoselivka. Our defenders thwarted three attempts by the invaders to advance, while one engagement is still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces pushed the enemy back near Ozerne.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 15 combat engagements were recorded near Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka and Mykolaipillia. Three attacks are still ongoing.

A total of 19 attacks were recorded in the Pokrovsk sector near the settlements of Vilne, Dobropillia, Rodynske, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Krasnopodillia, Dorozhnie, Myrne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 37 occupiers were eliminated and eight wounded here today. One vehicle, three pieces of specialized equipment, one electronic warfare station, one ammunition depot and two enemy shelters were destroyed. Four vehicles, three pieces of specialized equipment, four UAV control posts and 38 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 196 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

Situation in the south

Nine attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Huliaipole sector near the settlements of Rizdvianka, Dolynka and Shyroke.
In the Orikhiv sector, our units prevented the enemy from advancing near Prymorske.
