Ruscists could not withstand Ukrainian drone strikes and surrendered to Special Operations Forces troops instead of assaulting Ukrainian Armed Forces positions. VIDEO

Russian soldiers who had planned to assault Ukrainian positions surrendered after drone strikes by the 429th Achilles Unmanned Systems Brigade and the 420th ASTUR Unmanned Systems Regiment.

According to Censor.NET, Ukrainian defenders detected a small enemy assault group on the move and promptly launched drones to strike it.

The occupiers tried to take cover in a shelter, but strikes by heavy bomber drones forced them out.

As they retreated, the Russian soldiers remained under surveillance by Ukrainian UAVs. Realising their situation was hopeless, they raised their hands to signal their willingness to surrender.

The drone operators then ceased their strikes and continued monitoring the occupiers until troops from the 6th Rangers Special Operations Forces Regiment arrived and took the Russian soldiers prisoner.

The joint operation by three units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces thwarted the enemy assault, while the captured occupiers added to the pool of prisoners available for exchange.
