SOF special forces eliminated two occupiers deep behind Russian lines and evacuated wounded comrade. VIDEO

Ukrainian special forces penetrated the rear of the Russian troops, killed two occupiers and managed to evacuate a wounded comrade. The evacuation of the soldier from the combat zone took many hours and took place under the threat of attacks by enemy drones.

According to Censor.NET, footage of the operation was released by the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to military sources, a Special Operations Forces group covertly infiltrated the Russian rear, located the enemy’s position and carried out a raid. During the clash, Ukrainian special forces eliminated two occupiers, but one of the soldiers sustained a gunshot wound.

Despite his injury, the soldier did not make a sound so as not to attract the enemy’s attention. He signalled his condition to his comrades using gestures, applied a tourniquet himself and continued to monitor his sector.

Footage released, filmed from a first-person perspective, shows Ukrainian special forces moving through wooded terrain, providing aid to the wounded soldier and preparing for his evacuation.

The team managed to carry their comrade out of the danger zone, despite the presence of Russian drones in the air.

During the evacuation, the combat medic re-examined the wounded soldier, checked the tourniquet that had been applied and adjusted it to restore blood flow to the injured limb.

As noted by the Special Operations Forces, due to the evacuation taking many hours, there was a risk of losing the leg. The medic’s timely actions prevented a prolonged disruption to the blood supply, which could have led to amputation.

The Special Operations Forces emphasise that evacuating a wounded soldier from behind enemy lines requires not only physical endurance but also a high level of combat and medical training, team coordination and psychological resilience.

As a result of the operation, Ukrainian special forces completed their combat mission and were able to bring their wounded comrade back to their own lines.
