Sweden to provide Ukraine with new aid package worth nearly €45 million

Sweden has announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth 500 million kronor, or nearly €45 million.
Sweden's Minister for EU Affairs Jessica Rosencrantz announced this, Censor.NET reports.
What is known
The new aid package is intended to support Ukrainians through the winter.
"Ukraine is fighting not only for its own freedom but also for the security of all of Europe. As Russia brutally attacks civilian energy infrastructure ahead of another wartime winter, we are providing assistance for repairs and healthcare," the minister wrote.
Background
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. They discussed strengthening air defences, pressure on Russia and Ukraine's EU membership.
