Support for Ukraine remains unwavering EU priority – Costa

Support for Ukraine remains crucial as Russia intensifies its hybrid campaigns across Europe.
European Council President António Costa said this at a joint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Censor.NET reports, citing European Pravda.
Support for Ukraine
Costa stressed that Ukraine remains a priority for Europe.
"Our determination to support Ukraine and its people is as strong as ever. At the same time, every genuine step towards peace matters, and we support all sincere efforts in this direction. Unfortunately, Russia's actions point in the opposite direction," he said.
The European Council president also called for more pressure on Russia, "not less". He also urged increased financial support for Ukraine.
"Supporting Ukraine has never been more relevant than now, as Moscow intensifies its hybrid campaigns across Europe. We are witnessing acts of sabotage and repeated violations of member states' airspace and territorial waters," Costa said.
