MPs register resolution to review government decision banning business operations during "yellow" alerts

A draft resolution has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada seeking a review of Cabinet of Ministers Decision No. 1092 of 4 September 2026 concerning the ban on business operations during the yellow threat level. The document was signed by 31 MPs.
MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak reported this, according to Censor.NET.
What the draft entails
Draft resolution No. 16207 was registered on 2 November during the 16th session of the ninth convocation. According to Zhelezniak, the document proposes three changes:
- Businesses decide for themselves whether to operate during a yellow alert;
- Each employee assesses the threat individually and may take shelter;
- The obligation to notify employees and visitors remains.
"This is the one that requires businesses to provide shelters," Zhelezniak explained, referring to Cabinet Decision No. 1092. He thanked his colleagues for their shared position.
