Kyiv left without water due to Russian attacks: key water supply facilities lose power

Water supply in Kyiv was temporarily suspended on November 3 due to Russian attacks and damage to energy infrastructure. The capital’s key water supply facilities were left without electricity.
Kyivvodokanal reported this, according to Censor.NET.
According to the utility, the city currently has no water supply. Kyivvodokanal specialists are working with energy workers to resolve the situation and are taking steps to restore water supply as quickly as possible.
However, the utility warned that water would not return immediately after power is restored.
"Once power is restored, some time will be needed to restart the equipment, refill the water supply network and stabilize pressure," Kyivvodokanal said.
Where Kyiv residents can collect drinking water
Kyivvodokanal reminded residents that the capital has a network of public wells where they can collect drinking water.
The locations of the nearest public wells can be found on the website of the municipal enterprise Kyivvodfond.
The utility pledged to provide further updates on the situation and the restoration of water supply.
