201 combat engagements, 160 aerial bombs and nearly 4,000 kamikaze drones: General Staff reports on frontline situation
A total of 201 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.
This is according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff’s frontline report as of 10:00 p.m. on 3 November, Censor.NET reports.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
The enemy launched a missile strike and 50 airstrikes, dropping 160 guided aerial bombs. It also deployed 3,910 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,865 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian troop positions.
Situation in the north
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the occupiers have conducted 12 assaults since the beginning of the day and carried out 130 shelling attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Situation in the Kharkiv region
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions five times near Vovchansk and towards Radkivka. One of these attacks is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy conducted no assaults.
Fighting in the east
Ukrainian forces fought off five attempts by the invaders to advance in the Lyman sector, towards Lyman and near Kopanky. One attack is ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces stopped eight attempts by the invaders to advance near Yampil and Ozerne and towards Pyskunivka, Starodubove and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy launched two assaults towards Nykonorivka and Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defence Forces fought off 24 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Rozkishne and Vilne, and towards Raiske, Novopavlivka, Kucheriv Yar and Zolotyi Kolodiaz. Three assaults are still ongoing.
The enemy launched 15 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance near Vilne, Bilytske and Molodetske, and towards Dobropillia, Hulive, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka. Fighting continues.
According to preliminary estimates, 71 occupiers were killed and 13 wounded in this sector today. Ukrainian forces destroyed 10 motor vehicles, three pieces of specialised equipment, six UAV control posts and 34 enemy shelters. Another 11 motor vehicles, four artillery systems, two electronic warfare systems, six pieces of specialised equipment, four UAV control posts and 174 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 247 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy conducted no assaults.
Fighting in the south
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defence Forces repelled six enemy attacks towards Kosivtseve and Rizdvianka, and near Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupiers conducted three assaults, attacking near Mala Tokmachka and Stepnohirsk, and towards Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the occupiers conducted no assaults.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
