MURAMASA drone operators from KRAKEN Regiment strike one of Russia’s most advanced air defence systems, "Buk-M3", during Operation "Vivaldi". VIDEO
Operators from the MURAMASA unit of the 21st Separate KRAKEN Unmanned Systems Regiment, part of the Third Army Corps, detected and struck a Russian "Buk-M3" surface-to-air missile system during Operation Vivaldi.
As Censor.NET reports, Ukrainian defenders struck one of the Russian army’s most advanced air defence systems.
The "Buk-M3" is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system designed to engage aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and drones. The occupiers use these systems to provide air defence cover for their troops, command posts and military infrastructure.
"The enemy’s loss of one of its key air defence assets reduces its ability to protect its forces on the battlefield," Ukrainian defenders add in the post accompanying the video.
