30,000 hryvnias month: Koretskyi announces resumption of supplementary payments for critical infrastructure workers

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the resumption of state-funded supplementary payments to workers restoring energy facilities, municipal infrastructure and railways damaged by Russian attacks.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi announced this on Facebook, as cited by Censor.NET.
Who will be eligible for an additional 30,000 hryvnias
The state assistance will be paid to specialists directly involved in restoration work.
According to Koretskyi, monthly payments of 30,000 hryvnias will go to:
- Power and heating workers;
- Gas workers;
- Employees of water supply and wastewater companies;
- Municipal services workers;
- Railway workers.
Payments will be calculated for each month of participation in restoring facilities. The programme will run from November until the end of the heating season.
"This is a direct instruction from the President," the prime minister said.
Russia intensifies strikes on critical infrastructure
Koretskyi explained that the additional payments were being introduced because of large-scale Russian attacks on critical infrastructure.
According to him, Russia launches 300–400 drones at such facilities every day. Russian forces also regularly carry out missile strikes, including with ballistic missiles.
"More than 2,000 hits have been recorded since August. Power lines and exposed grid components are being destroyed, significantly complicating the situation," Koretskyi said.
He added that damaged facilities have to be restored repeatedly, with the volume of work several times higher than in previous years.
The prime minister stressed that the work of these specialists keeps the power system, housing and municipal services, and railways operating.
"This is the least the state can do for these specialists right now," Koretskyi stressed.
