"Russia killed her. Sasha was an incredibly warm and talented person. A true teacher and mentor, she never stopped developing her own skills and sincerely celebrated every student's achievements," her colleagues said.
She reportedly traveled to Sevastopol this summer for no more than a month to help her parents sell their apartment and move. Sasha was supposed to return home in September.
"She was detained there. They found her correspondence with a volunteer dating back to the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Then three months in solitary confinement. Awaiting trial. And then 'suicide.' Sasha never returned home," the post reads.
It is unknown what she was accused of.
Buried in Sevastopol
She was pronounced dead on October 25, and her funeral took place in Sevastopol on November 4. According to the Russian authorities' account, Oleksandra died by suicide.
She is survived by her daughter Alisa and her husband Oleksii.
