UAV operator Serhii Viktorovych Pihor was killed while carrying out a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region on October 27, 2026. He was 18.

What is known

"During the Russian-Ukrainian war, UAV operator Serhii Viktorovych Pihor was killed on October 27, 2026, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Shyroke in the Polohy area of Zaporizhzhia region," the statement reads.

He was born on June 15, 2008, and lived in Vynohradiv, Zakarpattia region.

"We extend our sincere condolences to the fallen soldier’s family and brothers-in-arms. Eternal memory to the Hero — Defender of Ukraine!" the city council added.
