Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during basic combined military training in Great Britain under the leadership of British instructors undergo training on how to move personnel as part of a unit and conduct offensive and defensive actions.
The Chief of Staff - Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, announced this in Telegram, publishing a photo from the exercise, Censor.NET reports.
"Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are undergoing training on how to move personnel as part of a unit, offensive and defensive actions, conducting combat operations in populated areas under the leadership of Company A, 1st Royal Regiment of the Princess of Wales Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Great Britain. The training takes place in Great Britain as part of the international training operation on basic combined military training," he said.
"Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine study the application of general principles of first aid during combat operations in an urbanized area. The training takes place within the framework of basic joint military training in Great Britain under the guidance of instructors of the 3rd Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry as part of Operation UNIFIER - UK. The Canadian Armed Forces are on the territory of Great Britain to use their experience and train Ukrainian recruits and ensure their operational readiness," Pavliuk also said.
