DNA analysis has established the death of a serviceman of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force, the commander of the aviation unit of the squadron, Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Fisher.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the brigade's Facebook page.
As noted, the pilot died on 5 June 2022 while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region.
During the repulsion of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Fisher flew more than a dozen combat missions. He skilfully and professionally conducted combat operations, inflicted accurate strikes on the places of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment.
In April 2022, Dmytro Vilhelmovych was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, III class, for his personal courage and selfless actions in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath.
