On the morning of 8 August 2024, Russian troops attacked the private sector in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, 2 people died as a result of shelling in Kostyantynivka.

"The Russians shelled the city this morning - they hit the private sector. According to preliminary information, they used artillery.

The police are documenting all the circumstances of this crime at the scene," the statement said.

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that Russian occupation forces shelled Donetsk region 18 times during the day, killing 2 people and wounding 4.
