Finnish volunteer fighter - medic killed in battle. PHOTO
A Finnish volunteer medic with the call sign Sipa was killed in action in eastern Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Yle with reference to the organisation Your Finnish Friends, which provides assistance to volunteer fighters.
According to them, the deceased served as a medic in the 1st Infantry Platoon of the Foreign Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the sixth Finn to die in the war in Ukraine.
His name is not mentioned, only his call sign Sipa is known.
"Sipa gave up all his possessions to come to Ukraine and defend it, despite his mother's strong opposition. Sipa had a goal, and he did not deviate from it," the organisation wrote about the deceased.
