The head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Serhii Deineko, visited border guard units defending their positions in the east of the country.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the State Border Guard Service.
Deinenko paid a working visit to border guards defending Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, praised their heroism and presented them with awards. During the visit, he also spoke with the commanders to discuss the operational situation and measures to help deter the enemy's actions.
"You are doing an extremely important job. Thanks to you, Ukraine is standing and all the enemy's plans are failing. Take care of yourself and your comrades in arms and always come back alive," Deineko said.
The Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also noted the performance of the units and awarded the defenders with honorary rewards and firearms.
