President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz paid tribute to the memory of the fallen defenders on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv.

The head of state announced this in Telegram, Censor.NET reports.

"Together with Chancellor Olaf Scholz, we honoured the memory of all our soldiers whose lives were taken by Russian aggression.

May all Ukrainians and Ukrainian women, all our heroes who perished as a result of Russia's criminal actions, rest in peace," the President said.
