During the day on Sunday, 8 December, Russian invaders shelled two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and artillery. There is damage to infrastructure.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Serhii Lysak on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"Nikopol district suffered the most. The enemy fired at it from heavy artillery, dropped ammunition from UAVs and sent kamikaze drones," the official said.
An infrastructure facility, a petrol station and a power line were damaged in Nikopol. Windows in one of the nine-storey buildings were smashed.
The day was also restless in the Pokrovske and Marhanetsk communities. Two private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged by Russian shelling.
In addition, the Russians also targeted the Velykomykhailivka community of Synelnykove with a drone, damaging a car.
There were no casualties.
