Border guards together with law enforcement officers exposed a scheme of men smuggling across the state border.

Officers of the 7th Border Guard Detachment of the Carpathian Mountains, together with the Migration Police and the Prosecutor's Office of Lviv Region, exposed a channel for smuggling men of military age across the state border of Ukraine.
The offenders were a 20-year-old resident of Yavoriv district and his 25-year-old accomplice. They offered their services for $2,500, which they received via cryptocurrency wallets. The package of services included detailed instructions, a route and a lift to the border outside official checkpoints.
One of the men was detained red-handed near the border. He and his accomplice were served a notice of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for 7 to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property and a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities.
