Judge of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa, Alla Malomuzh, did not indicate in her declaration the rental of an apartment in the United Arab Emirates worth almost 700,000 hryvnias.
This is stated in the investigation by "Slidstvo.Info", Censor.NET reports.
According to the documents investigated by "Slidstvo.Info" journalists, it is a 117 sqm apartment in the new-build 14-storey "Orin Building", located in the Al Barsha district, a 15-minute drive from the Palm Jumeihra island of Dubai. The property consists of a hall and two bedrooms.
The website of the Dubai real estate agency states that residents of this building can use a private pool, tennis court, barbecue area and round-the-clock security.
According to the rental contract obtained by "Slidstvo.Info" from LeMonde, Alla Malomuzh was to pay 70,000 dirhams (approximately UAH 675,500) for renting an apartment in Dubai from October 2023 to October 2014.
The judge's declaration for 2023, when the rental agreement was already in force, does not mention any real estate in Dubai.
In her declaration for 2023, Judge Malomuzh indicated that her annual income (judge's salary) was UAH 725,353 and UAH 47,000 in child support. That is, the rental of property in Dubai could have accounted for almost all of the judge's annual earnings.
The judge does not indicate the husband's place of work in the declaration, instead stating that he has had USD 30 thousand in savings over the past few years. As of 2023, when the judge appears to have started renting property in Dubai, her husband's savings had decreased by USD 9,000. The declaration also states that in 2023, the judge's family had a third child.
During a conversation with a journalist of "Slidstvo.Info", Judge Malomuzh denied that she was renting an apartment in Dubai, advising journalists to contact law enforcement agencies with the information received. Alla Malomuzh also noted that she had not been in Ukraine for almost three years. However, in her declarations for 2022-2023, her place of residence is an apartment in Odesa. There is no mention of renting property abroad in official documents.
