Today, 18 January 2025, the Russian occupiers once again launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Communications Department of the National Police.

As of 8:45 a.m., three private houses, a fence, four vehicles and outbuildings were damaged as a result of the falling debris. There is no information about the victims. Investigators, forensic experts and explosives experts of the Kyiv regional police are working at the scene.

The police call on residents of the region to immediately go to shelters during air raid alerts and strictly follow safety rules.

According to the Air Force, 2 out of 4 ballistic missiles and 24 Shaheds were destroyed, and the missiles were shot down in the Kyiv region.

Strike on Kyiv on 18 January 2025

Earlier, Censor.NET reported that on the morning of 18 January 2025, explosions were heard in Kyiv, and the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, reported that air defense was in operation. Later it became known that 4 people were killed in the attack, a non-residential building was on fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and there was smoke in the entrance of the building. It was also reported that the entrance to the Lukyanivska metro station was damaged.
